VOGUE is grace, expression, fanciness, posing, elegant walking and dancing, not hand shaking like a crazy, or doing things trying to impress and at the end only look ridiculous...

Yeah. I feel like a lot of people add these flashy elements to hide the fact that they can’t really Vouge…

SOOO ... White people learning vogue is assumed as part of it progression. They have been in vogue for YEARS!!! Not the beginning. But decades! However, just like when I went for a Salsa Class in Harlem ...and a white girl came out to teach ... How do you feel comfortable. We NEVER publicly taught vogue. That was part of its fascination. The community it BELONGED to ...learned from the people of the community. To commercialize such an underground, beloved outlet of the pushed to back streets of downtown GLBT ppl ....and its NOT them doing it ....Wow. They vogued on the bridge and if it were on the BLOCK ...it may have been a shoot out ! It was fought to have the comfortablity you have today. Vogue was ALWAYS directly linked to the underground community that mad our own stars and celebs and family. You never see a BLACK man teaching Ancient Chinese dance for a reason. That's a fascinating dance culture too.
