Thank you, Billie. What a fashion show! Also nice to see crochet was included. There is so much to see it is overwhelming in a good way. Very inspiring! Those Doodle cards look so fun. Around mark 19 we got to see Dusty's Vintage Buttons. Oh, I think I spotted Jerri, in the crowd, in the pic of Dusty's both on Sat. Take care and stay warm!

I didn't point this out, but it wasn't just one fashion show. There were several throughout the day, with different designers/themes. Good for you for spotting Jerri!

Hi Billie thank you for sharing your experience at VKL really enjoyable and the fashion show was an inspiration. I am currently knitting a simple cable sweater it’s a 10 row pattern so I only use cable needle on one row for every 10 rows and DK yarn so knitting up quickly.

Thank you Billie for taking me on a tour when I couldn't be there in person. Quite a lot of inspiration in those fashion shows and some of the same patterns too.

You're welcome. The fashion shows were amazing...especially Shirley Paden's.

Very nice. Do they end up releasing those patterns? I love the capelets

I believe so. Listen for the designer's names which I sometimes captured. I know some are by Shirley Paden, Mari Tobita.

Thanks for sharing. The items were very interesting but it does seem a let down from a fashion leader to reflect current economy. But u did great by sharing. Have u been going for several years to this type event? Do u enjoy it? What is ur umpression of the event?

This was the third time I attended. It's great to run into people I know and see what the new yarns and products are. The class offerings are amazing, too, although this year I didn't take any. I am unsure of what you mean by "a let down from a fashion leader to reflect current economy." Who are you referring to and what did they do that disappointed you?

I loved the fashion show. Is there any way to get a list of the patterns? I don't think VKL is posting anything. It's not really possible to get the info from the video. half they time they don't say what it is and we can't hear anyway.

I'll be putting out a follow-up episode tomorrow where I flash some of the lists of the fashion shows. If you comment there with which lists you are most interested in, I'll try to have an iphone digitize the lists and post them there.

@ that’s great. Thanks. I can’t believe that the Vogue organization has gone so much down the tubes business wise. In the past they would post the videos themselves
@ShowandTellknitting7 күн бұрын
@@NinaKeilin I do believe they were filming. When you saw little green dots...I think that was their cameraman.

That may be partly due to me cutting off my camera in an effort to show the clothes more than the speaker. I knew the fashion shows were going to dominate the podcast and I thought people might get bored with an hour of fashion shows.
