DULMIII ! She is so stunning and I understand why she got it! She’s gorgeous and a rarity. Most Japanese models are so beautiful but they are all so thin and can have such similar appearance. She gives you that Japanese skin , face, eyes , pout, but her body is so fullllll and curvy and her skin is so beautifully tanned. AGH ! She’s a gem I WOULDVE picked her in a heartbeat also!

There are so many young, beautiful women in this video. One of my favourites is the woman with the beautiful red long afo--I am not sure of her name yet, but there is something about her that stands apart, it's not just her look, it's her energy and vibe. Her name is something like Rayan maybe? I will try and find it and add it in. She's a stunner!

I am tired of seeing comments criticising the choice saying that at the end of the day the girls chosen represent standards anyway. It is a casting for models, being a model is a profession like any other, in every job criteria are required, whether they be physical, mental or character criteria. let's stop saying that EVERY PERSON ON THIS EARTH can be a model. in these girls i see diversity, i see different hair, different skin, different bodies (just because they are all generally thin doesn't mean their bodies are the same), i see personality and grit and i see girls who can be industry professionals. each of them represents a type of model for different industries, some are born to do runways (have you seen Cynthia's walk?!?), others are perfect to be ambassadors in editorials. I don't think that casting was restricted to girls with 'no experience at all', yes some of them had 'experience' in the industry but clearly they hadn't broken through yet. I wish each of them a bright career and certainly hope to see them more often than I see many untalented Nepo Babies.

To be a successful model it’s a very homogeneous look, or else you’re career is going to be very niche Race isn’t the issue, the top models have similar facial structure whether that’s white, black, asian, etc. It’s simply just who’s the most attractive

I actually didn’t know Muslim women can become a model? I thought showing their body and you know, many other sides of modelling industry are considered as “haram” in Islam. But it’s great that we are celebrating women and give people the opportunity they deserve ❤

Yes, you are correct! Showing your body and putting it on 'display' is haram. But as you can see in the video, Abrar was covered and dressed modestly, so it's okay. Now other people might say modelling no matter what is haram but that's their opinion.

Theres plenty of Muslim models both women and male models. If I'm going to be honest in 2023 most religious people wheather be Muslim, Christians, Jews, Hinduism etc cherry pick what part of the religion they want to follow. So depending on what opportunities come their way e.g modelling all of a sudden they make up excuses to do it

Do you guys see that? at 6:20 They said "most of the finalists got signed to a modeling agency" and then the video cuts to the run-of-the-mill skinny, tall, ambiguous models. Something about that seemed very ironic. I assume the models who didn't get signed were too out of the box for the industry.

im so happy vogue is using west african like colette and south african models, almond eyes high cheek bones and full nose and lips is the prettiest combionation of features if you ask me/ i always found it suspect that they only used mixedrace or black east african models that features are more appealing to the european beauty standards.
