It always amazes me how articulate Swedes are at American English. Every time I come across a Swede abroad I can barely hear an accent. I never understood how they spoke American English so well. Sone told me it's because they have American TV, but they speak better than a lot of Americans.

I'm an American and I've noticed this as well.

We start learning English very early in school, but that's British English. That helps, but the real reason is because we have all the American tv shows and we only have Swedish subtitles. So we hear the words in American English, and read the Swedish translation live while watching the movies.

Most Swedes begin English lessons at age 5 and the more immersed they are in another culture (american/ british etc), the less Swedish accent. Bill's is almost indetectable

So I think it simply needs to be Skarsgård👏👏👏👏❤️🤍🩵 Proud heritage, but I get what he says regarding costume~ Skandi is it’s own thing- far from America or film. So also is my Romanian/ Romani ties. Individuality is priceless, and none of us should be outside of our comfort zone in our reality. It helps especially in creatives, to keep us grounded in our own realities. I am grateful I tripped on this interview. And as I type, can you imagine Werner Hertzog narrating me? Because oddly; I hear Werner Hertzog narrating me speaking of my Swedish/Romani heritage. I am very proud of this family & their tiring work- immense talents, the whole lot! I hope their family is proud of eachother. If I had that?
