Check for Mica Miller's voice at about 17 minutes in. Could that program be used to mimic her voice on the 911 call. A lot of inquiring minds want to know. Myself included. The shell casings, gun and body location do not add up to suicide. More like everything was staged.

So, now not only the identity theft (AKA personal data theft) is a thing but a face theft and a voice theft might become a thing. You've presented a very interesting topic. And you're right, it's scary as well. However, I was able to hear an unnatural lack of the emotional intonation (mainly the lack of pitch modulation) at the end of the first generated example speech. It sounded artificial. Or like the one who spoken these words was utterly bored and had an ironic approach to the speech he gave. ;)

Yes. As long as you have an audio file of anyone speaking, the software will be able to have that voice say anything you type.

Yes if you have about 4 minutes of someone speaking - audio files. You upload that audio file, then type in whatever you want and it will speak in that voice. I've found that it works better if the person has somewhat of a monotone voice.

No. It works well with monotone voices, but doesn't do inflections very well. So if you have a flat plain voice it can work.
