Kind of hard to believe that the Scooby Doo franchise is now 51 years old. That's a lot of time in dog years! One of my favorite Daphne moments is she she joined The Hex Girls. One of my favorite moments in the franchise was when Shaggy was broadcasting on the radio and used his "radio voice", which suspiciously sounded just like Casey Kasem.

Daphne Blake not only beautiful but I was so sharp, sassy, sweets and brave. Well in the beginning she was the one to get captured the most calling her out as a damsel in distress character she has gone through a lot of great changes over the years. Sometime around the live action film big made her more i’m a fighter and I’m proud of that. As well she’s also shown to be resourceful I’m making a talented problem solver. And even if the new recent show being be cool Scooby Doo the actually made her a bit more comedic if I actually enjoy it. I enjoy the changes of Daphne Blake making her more capable and enjoyable, thank you writers.

I always felt that between Fred and Daphne in the original live action movies, their characterizations were based on "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo," rather than their original 60's and 70's versions. And it works for the movie. Really seems that since Pup, Daphne became fashion obsessed as a result.

I completely agree! I was a fan of the original series so, the movies' portrayal of Daphne as a trendy fashionista always threw me off. Daphne just seemed a little more grounded before "A Pup Named Scooby Doo" happened. The live-action movies, also, seemed to get her go-go boots from "Pup". Those are the only times I can remember Daphne ever wearing anything like that, anyway.

I'd say that, like Fred, Daphne isn't really a dynamic character the way Shaggy and Scooby are. Sure, she has the "Danger Prone Daphne" moments, but other than that she's just one of the grounded three to counterbalance wacky dog and hippy boy. Though, it does seem "Pup" had a big influence on the live action films to the point where they directly referenced Coolsville and in the second film, Chickenstein made an appearance. Pup is oddly one of my favorite versions of the show, and it's funny that in the case of certain shows, it's actually canon.

That's the "New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show" right? Those are the ones I tend to think of where they first got Daphne to shine. Even when she wasn't given that distinction, I always felt that Fred and Daphne were the anchors that kept the show centered. Shaggy and Scooby were the dynamic characters, sure, but when they had their own shows they just weren't that good. While I think New Scooby and Scrappy and 13 Ghosts do work without Velma and Fred, I think the whole team just makes the cartoons work overall. Fred's the leader, Daphne's the second in command, Velma's the brains, and Shaggy and Scooby are the heart and the comic relief.

Stefania sounded very prim, preppy, and girlish. Heather North's Daphne sounded more mature. Loved Grey and Mary Kay (Grey was a protégé of hers) Kellie Martin brought a sassy, Valley Girl to the role. Alice Dinnean sounded hyper (was this for preschoolers?) with a touch of bossy. Sarah Michelle really channeled Buffy. Kate and Sarah are teen twists. Amanda is well suited

I like "Grey DeLisle-Griffin" voice performance as "Daphne Blake", in 2016 at the Nickelodeon Animation Studios during the production of "The Loud House" she had three character role in the series, she voiced as the twins "Lana L. I just watched an old episode of Green Acres where Heather North played Kathy, a Hooterville High School teenager with a schoolgirl crush on Oliver Wendell Douglas. Her teenage insults of Oliver's wife Lisa Douglas were very funny. Heather North passed away in November of 2017 and will be remembered most as the longest tenured voice of Daphne on Scooby-Doo. May she rest in peace.💐

I love that Grey is still voicing Daphne, but, no matter how good she is (and she's really good at it), she can't surpass Heather North. She was the voice actress that coined the voice accent Daphne has in most versions of the Scooby franchise. If Stephanianna Christopherson had continued to voice Daphne through "The Scooby-Doo Show", perhaps Daphne would sound a little different than what she sounds today, because Grey's voice for Daphne is based on Heather's.

Like Mindy Cohn as Velma, I think Grey DeLisle-Griffin has an advantage in that she both has done it the longest and has been in projects where Daphne is given more personality. DeLisle-Griffin therefore shows off the most range, getting to be emotional at times and somewhat sarcastic at others. Mary Kay Bergman’s voice is pretty similar to DeLisle-Griffin’s, and I think she very well could have shown even more range in the role had she not unfortunately left us so soon. Martin fits very well as the voice in A Pup Named Scooby Doo, bringing a comedic edge to the character that isn’t as present in most other incarnations. North and Christopherson were alright, but Daphne’s personality was never really that defined back then outside of her occasionally being accident-prone. North has a slight edge over Christopherson because she voiced her longer and there were attempts to have her play more of a leadership role in the mid-1980s. Judging from the clips available, it seems as though Seyfried is going for the more sarcastic approach as Daphne. It’s fine, although it doesn’t really seem all that distinct. My ranking: 1. Grey is great but it all depends on which series or era you grew up in. Heather to me was the best because she gave life to the character for many years and made it hers during the Hanna Barbara era.

I think in most of the movies they're portrayed as adults and in most of the TV shows they're portrayed as kids/teenagers

In my humble opinion, Stefanianna Christopherson is definitely tops as Daphne. Hence the fact that she was the original voice of the character.

If I would've thought of this sooner, I'd hire Sarah Michelle Gellar to voice my SUPER late TMNT (2014-16) style OC, Caterina or Cat for short: Named after famous Italian artist Caterina Angela Pierozzi, the baby sister turtle in pink and mistress of the tantō daggers, she loves the theater life, she's a great singer and dancer when she's not doing ninjutsu, she likes pizza but not as much as her brothers, she prefers a salad and going on a strict diet, she's a total girly girl but in the 2012-17 series, she's not the romantic type but she is in the 2014 movie and 2016 sequel, and her famous quote is: "Never underestimate a girl" 11:21
