This video is so drastically different from the stomach update (missed the other one between the two). I mean, your voice is so full of life and enthusiasm again! You know what another funny thing is? I wake up in the morning thinking about my DnD and Pathfinder campaigns, how the worlds are and what makes them spin, and I'm a grown man now (33), married, and I'm so very glad to see that somebody across the globe does the same (even more actually, since you make vids for us while I merely ponder things in my head). It’s good to hear you sounding like you’re old self. I’ll keep praying that the biopsy brings good news. I really like your concept of Renaissance Sith and they’re being multiple sects of Rule of Two Sith all fighting in the shadows for legitimacy. It kind of reminds me of the various sects of Shia Islam with their competing lines of succession for their Imams/Caliphs. Especially with how many time has passed between Darth Bane and The period of time covered by the original trilogy, prequel trilogy, and the New Republic era who really knows which of these Sith Lords is the legitimate successor to Darth Bane’s Rule of Two.

My favourite force ideas/groups in the EU are ones that I know would annoy Lucas and Star Wars purists. Kreia's dystheist philosophy about the force is really compelling to me, it's not how I view our world but it's essentially how I view Star Wars. Also the Old Republic MMO's light side Sith - in my head they're more monarchist than Jedi in their views about government, and they eschew some of the more Buddhist aspects of Jedi philosophy for an almost Aristotelian view of virtue - that's just my headcanon anyway
