I know this is an old video, but I need this right now! I've been singing for a lot of years, but I am literally just learning about mixed voice. All I've ever known was belting chest voice, and using a faint falsetto.

Before I started taking this lesson, I really had no real understanding of The Passaggio as a Vocalist. I figured it may have maybe been related to some type of vocal passage, but I was not sure. I just figured that if Mr. McKay Liked it, Then I Like It Too:) But now that I have been doing these Lessons for a while now, and doing some general Music research on the Passagio, I totally Get It now. Thanks for posting this A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Voice Lesson for the benefit of me and the rest of the world:)🎶🎵🔥❤️💕💜🥳♥️🤟💋👍🏾🤙🏆🥇🎖👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

In the other video, you brought up vocal compression. Is it just another name for vocal cord closure?
@newyorkzboy11910 жыл бұрын
You should warn people that if they tightened in the throat while doing vocal cry that it will not be effective at all it will make it worse. But that's only if you feel strain or tension but if you can do this with ease you are fine and it will be very effective

Hello sir I love your channel. I am re watching your videos practicing every day If you could please help me out with my mix voice🙏🙏🙏 around a6 my voice leaves mask and vibrate in throat I try to keep the placement still and create enough space for sound to still resonance in the mask area but I end up going to my throat whatever I do. I try to let the head resonance take over while in mix so I can pass a6 but it doesn't seem to work please help!!! And Thank you so much!!!

Compression. You have to learn to isolate the movement of the Arytenoids without rasining your larynx. Check out my video "The difference between Falsetto and head Voice" and it will explain in more detail

I Like your pentatonic lessons very much. But this one is dangerous. - It can make singers hoarse and damage their voice - especially those of women....
