"Nothing is the same after ME" that's what I heard and I wholeheartedly agree!!! That was a bop too I was singing along :D I have never received vocal training, just been singing to myself my whole life. Singing along with vocalists like Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and actually Regina Spektor has been a HUGE aid - listening to their articulation, tone, incredible control and creativity, and at first honestly just trying to imitate it. But by imitating, I began to 'feel' the difference in my body compared to my 'normal' singing, and gradually pieced together the comprehension of using different muscles to achieve a specific result. I believe anyone can sing, or play music, create art, dance, any of these things so long as they have a desire to do it. Self expression is a skill, one that every human being deserves to learn to cultivate in every form that pleases them. THANK YOU for spreading this message and it's power!! One Voice & One LOVE ♥🕯

Thank you so much for this! I've had a few voice teachers try to break down riffs for me. I've developed decent agility and range, but my transitions always got muddy as I got faster. I always felt like these teachers were doing something extra to keep note definition at high speeds (it sounded to me kinda like a forced vibrato), but none of them could explain it. It just blew my mind to have someone finally explain note separation techniques and illustrate them at a lower speed. I'll definitely be watching your other videos on the subject!

I wish I could learn to sing like this. You sound amazing. My throat closes and I can’t sing 🥹. I love the control in your voice .
@timgurr1876 Жыл бұрын
I’m not an expert but have been singing nearly 70 years. A lot of people sing in their throat. You have to think of voice placement, where you want the sound to come from. One form is to think of placing the sound in your sinus cavity. It takes practice like everything else. Listen for the difference in sound from the throat to the sinuses. Also, try to open your throat more. Simple vocalizing with an Ahh sound helps a lot. Also, sing relaxed. Let the throat relax. Support the air coming from your mouth with your diaphragm. Again, it takes practice. This is a place to start. Maybe there are more helpful hints on line. Try to sing in a choir (church or local choral group). The more you sing the easier it becomes. Start simple and practice daily. Just simple vocal exercises with vowel sounds really helps to strengthen your vocal chords and the muscles in your neck. Good luck.

One of the advantages of being almost fluent in english is that you can learn a lot of new things from native speakers. The thing is, every teacher have a different way of teaching about certain topics. So if you can't understand what one person is trying to teach you, you can just search for a video on the internet and look for a someone who can explain it better, and the subject may start making sense to you because of different words they used to explain it and different activities they gave you as homework.. In conclusion, all I want to say is THANK YOU! I love the way you make music and singing look less stressful to learn lol Lots of love from Brazil ❤
