Back in the 80's in Australia we had a crew called BUGA UP who did billboard alterations against big tobacco. I fondly remember their work and it definitely had an effect on me as a kid stuck in the back seat watching the road go by.

one of my favorite things ever, was when I was younger- in our old neighborhood- these older tagger kids would do murals for the school, or for peoples businesses, always legal stuff, and they had a box truck with a sign on it that said "Feel free to whitewash and paint this entire truck" or something along those lines.. I think there was a small note that said, "dont cover up this sign, or the windows PLEASE!!" .. you would always see fresh new paintings, and it was like legal, mobile graff

I barely discovered the first episode of this series. I like it. I think it's made by Pharrelle and his team of creatives. It's also very interesting that there are different subcultures even within the free public art world. In this case it's a focus on artists that work on Billboards.
