Hello ADK and welcome to Voice of Baceprot! Fair play with the reaction, I mainly am interested in seeing people acknowledge who they are and what they've had to go through to get to this point in their career. They have made history in one sense, as they are the first rock/metal band to wear/practice hijab on the world stage (two European tours and one Wacken show). Is there room in metal for a revolutionary band that is also religious? I think that if you listen to what they have to say, as well as what they play, then the answer is yes! They are using their musical platform to work towards equality, tolerance, education, opportunity, and safety for all people, with a particular focus on women's rights.

When you were 14-15 yo ... Little girls wearing hijab ... Rise in poor family ... Living in the small village ... Go to school by walking about 2-3 hours everyday ... No internet ... Do not know about musical instrument ... Got bullied and persecutions ... No support from family, everyone and society ... So you really need extra ordinary FAITH and BRAVERY ... And that is VOB !!!
