She really is fabulous. She lives every song. She always goes somewhere when she sings. And yes, her band is awesome. People are right, every performance is a special edition.

Great reaction! Many reactors miss the ending, when she is coming back to herself, so I'm so happy you took the time to notice that. Keep it coming with more Aurora ;)

Thanks for your excellent reaction, Valerie! As always! Please dig more into Auroras music and her meaningful lyrics. She is a natural . If you dare, make a reaction to Aurora as the energy bombshell. Try the KEXP concert in Iceland: All is soft inside. It will give you a treat!

Aurora was terribly frightning at this concert. It was the first really big gig of her career. In retrospect, she frightened herself about her body movements. In the interview afterwards, she said in her typically honest way that she almost peed herself.

Lovely reaction as always, Valerie. You are my favorite reactor of all. I am also touched by your wisdom and knowledge of Norwegians and Norway. And you have now reacted to a wide specter of their singers. I love that. Stay safe and well 😊💕

Love reading your facial reactions! This could be one of the best performances, I have seen. Oh, those powerful crescendos and that subtle voice control. Notice her song endings, as you stated, she is "In the Zone", in a trance like state!! Not many have these talents and skills. An Aurora classic, written at 12, simply amazing! Thanks, again.

Aurora's band is amazing. Sadly her current backup singer and many instruments Silja has decided to focus on her own music, though i wish her the best of luck :) I'm very curious who they have found or even if they have found to fill that space. Great video, very happy that you picked a live song. If you would like to listen to another live performance that is completely different i recommend "under the water" live at either VevoHalloween (my favourite) or The Honda Stage.

I don’t think Aurora expected the audience to be there when she comes back as you put it. It’s a stunning performance. A-ah were also on stage that night but their performance is not so memorable.

Dear Valary, thank you for another good reaction. Interesting what you say about the fact that you used to walk in the woods after church. There I think maybe the difference lies between Norwegians, Norwegian artists and people from other parts of the world. Our church is nature itself. As soon as we have time off from work, we visit our own special places in nature to find peace to process our own thoughts. This probably affects our society and the freedom to find your inner strength comes early in life. Culturally speaking, this is also reflected in music, and I must say that all Norwegian children who want it, receive free training from top professional music educators. A mixture of closeness to nature and oneself, self-confidence, playfulness and good educators, creates a creative class that is allowed to show the way. Artists like Aurora and Angelina Jordan are great examples of this lucky mix. It is allowed to be different, it is actually a strength. I also believe that one is more concerned with artistic freedom and development than fame. In that sense, the world has not seen artists like Sussanne Sundfør, Ane Brun, Sivert Høyem to name a few. I'm not a philosopher, but I think it's worth mentioning. :-)

Hi Valerie, love your deep interesting insights and knowledge, subscribed. Aurura is in my top 3 list of female singers along with my old love Kate Bush and Diana Navarro (which you have to react to urgently, start with "El Perdon"). you should react to Auroras "It Happened Quiet Live in Bergen 2020", i and many of Aurura fans need your insights on this specific performance and especially at 3:30 where something quite amazing happens in Auroras voice in "don't speak over my voice" part, you haven't done this song yet and it's one of her absolute best and unique songs, also "Murder song 5,4,3,2,1" from this same show you watching here (The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert), thanks, peace.

Valerie, I wouldn't normally recommend you analysis & react to a 'cover' of a song unless I felt the 'new' singer had knocked the originals' song out the park! It's an Ariana Grande song called, "God is a Women", Aurora takes this song, rearranges it & makes it her own. You definitely have to watch the music video clip to understand what I mean: "God Is A Woman": kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJ_CZ5xtjMqXY8U

It's not a "stupid rule", as a vocal teacher you should know that. Movement disrupts your breathing and muscle control, affecting your tone quality. It's probably why she's so breathy. It works for her, but she is an exception to the rule, not the proof against it.
