Brendon is now 33 he has been doing Panic! for about 15-16 year I believe. He is incredibly talented. Some of my personal favorite songs that he has performed are: The End Of All Things Bohemian Rhapsody Emperors New Clothes Victorious High Hopes
@LaynieFingers5 жыл бұрын
He started as a drummer, plays something like every instrument, and got started with his record contract at 17. In my opinion, he just keeps getting better as he goes on. There aren't many singers like him in my opinion!

I agree. He's one of the better voices of this generation.
@spooniejusticewarrior5 жыл бұрын
He really does have incredible range. And the fact that he's had no formal training is incredible. The one where he did "Don't Stop Believin'" when he was younger, he had actually smoked like 3 cigarettes before that. And the "Dream On" performance wasn't even planned. He was asked to rehearse it because Steven Tyler couldn't make it.

Oh yeah, the 2009 video 😂 he actually started touring with Panic! In 2005! But you can see from the Live in Denver concert film that his voice has changed a lot. He sang kind of theatrically styled music on their first album, and apparently his mom had him sing a couple of show numbers when he was really little, but he stared in Kinky Boots just last year.

his main influences were bands like queen and also frank sinatra

You’re right, he has influences everywhere, Sinatra is a big one for him. And also, in 2011(I think?) Panic! actually did a song with Nate Ruess’ Fun. called C’mon : )

Brendon was still a fairly heavy smoker back when that Journey cover was recorded, and even though I can't hear it in his voice there, I'm glad he kicked that particular habit before it did serious damage.
@octo4485 жыл бұрын
I appreciated that you noticed some of that wobble on the Casual Affair clip at 4:15 ish, I noticed it too and then when I saw the rest of the clip I understood why it was included in the compilation. It was a little different there in the beginning than I've heard it elsewhere, but that high note was LIT. I'd love to hear your take on LP - LP - Lost On You [Live Session] or really anything live from LP. She is a really unique singer songwriter and she tends to use acoustic and very simple instruments like Brendon does in most of these clips.

my main man. PATD was (is??) an excellent band; truly revolutionary for their time... in retrospect, i think they recycled a lot of queen's vibe/sound & made it their own, but in 2007 when i first saw them live i just thought he was a god of some sort. ;) regardless, he's managed to keep himself relevant for ~15 years, & is only increasing in popularity, so he's definitely doing something right! & he's always been easy on the eyes, so y'know, haha.

Great reaction video(s) Please keep up the good work Valerie! But one word…: VUUR! (Fire!) Long time ago, way back in 1994 a 21 year old girl called Anneke van Giersbergen (Netherlands), and her band The Gathering, changed symphonic-melodic metal. A metal band with a female singer? Yes. But the way this girl used her voice was different... Not like you would expect from a metal or (hard)rock singer at all. Not in those days, 1994/1995. The Gathering even scored a hit single in Europe with ‘Strange machines’. So yes, before the amazing Floor Jansen, before Tarja Turunen, before all these other great and lovely female singers in symphonic metal bands there already was Anneke van Giersbergen. Today that 21 year old girl is still around, a little bit older, but still amazing and playing all over the world with her new band VUUR! Please check her out. This is Anneke today, live with VUUR! I think you would be the first to reactie to Anneke. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nou4e5aFgclrbLs
