Oh man, you turned it off 5 seconds early. The most gut ripping part of the video is when he closes the lid of his c̸o̸f̸f̸i̸n̸ piano. Such a profound gesture of finality.

Hi, voice teacher. RM of BTS is releasing his second studio album, and it's highly anticipated by many, it'll be great if you join the many that'll be reacting to it. It is called "Right Place Wrong Person". It captures the feeling of being an outsider that doesn't fit in and it is of the alternative genre. It is out MAY 24TH 2024.(pre release single may 10th)

This is one of the most, if not THE most poignant, and raw videos I've seen. It gets me every time I watch it.

oh john, this was such a great commentary! this performance never fails to get my emotions. also, i think you would like a performance of jacob collier with laufey and dodie of wild mountain thyme with a full orchestra. it's very emotional.

Can you react to Jacob Colliers cover of “everytime we say goodbye” It an almost surreal kind of singing. I would really recommend it ❤

Jane H commenting ….. Johnny Cash has such a great voice. Great performance too. Great Reaction. Could you please do a Reaction on Emma Shapplin - Ira Di Dio …….. (please React to the video posted by Jackie - Abzurdahh) …….Emma is a French Soprano who sings her own fusion of Rock & Opera …. The performance on this video was done in live concert in 1999 in Israel. I’ve been a big fan of Emma since first hearing her sing in 2000. Thank you.

Hi! My 12-yr old chorister grandson 🇦🇺 just advised me of your channel, following which I have watched several with both pleasure and some awe. Jacob Collier is known well by me since he was young and sang in Magic Flute with one of my boys. I see Jacob as Bobby McFerrin on steroids. 😂. One genre of voice I missed on your channel is treble singing. As a former(very) chorister at the Abbey, and with two sons and five grandsons who followed my example, I feel American audiences ignore this unique voice. Perhaps you might educate them. Cormac Thompson (Empty Chairs) or James Rainbird (Spielberg's Empire of the Sun, song " Suo Gân") might be good starting points.

Never liked country music but weirdly Johnny Cash was always the definition of a rockstar to me. And to realize that even at that age he was open to what must've been kids music to him and embrace it so honestly and without pretense...brilliant man. Thanks for the reaction!

John... I always love and respect your reactions, but I wish that you would have let the last few seconds play out. The implied symbolism in the closing of the piano was really quite beautiful. Not dogging you for it, but I would have liked for you to see it. Great reaction!

This is one of 3 remade so ga that have far outdone the original- #2- Disturbed singing Sound of Silence (Which you covered and that is the video that brought me to your channel)… #3 is Pentatonix and their rendition of Hallelujah- (actually any song). They are accapella, with a beatboxer and absolutely make any song the perform, there own. Trust me, you need to explore their videos!!

This performance by Johnny is quite different from Trent Reznor. But I interpret both versions the same way- some people live their whole life as a damaged person, all the while going through the motions of ‘normal’ life. Then a point comes where self harm or drugs seems like the only escape from the pain of trying to fit in.
