Thank you for your reaction to this song. I saw this movie and this song brought me to discover this girl. I love female singers and this one just melts my soul every time. I'm a new fan. This is the best singer and the best cover of this song.

Mori’s ability to execute the right power, emotions, dynamics make her truly exceptional! Hands down to this amazing lady!

You want to know her coach? Her main coach is all the heartbreaks and success she went through. She’s been competing since she was little. She’s been through more than a hundred competitions. That’s how Philippine singers get their training, from all the competitions they joined.

She's in my top 10 of all time, her voice just does it for me in all areas! I would like to know her vocal coach's name and address so I can send him/her a gift basket, bottle of wine, and a big fat thank you, because this woman is amazing...damn! She comes in to destroy! #vocalbeast

morissete is no vocal coach thats her natural talent, in my country the vocal coach is not actualy requred due some aspect like some singers during thier younger years they can afford thats what you called vocal coach, the tranning we got here is just always joint the singing competion.. {philippens}
@jerrie2u6 жыл бұрын
Ok, I'm even more impressed and I didn't know that was possible!
@BoraViolin6 жыл бұрын
She is not self taught. She says her parents discovered she could sing at 4. Her father was her original teacher and she has said in interviews that she started singing lessons at 9. Shes a combo of nurtured natural talent. She has also had several mentors slong the way, that are well known in the Philippine music industry. The delivery part though (the part that makes your heartbeat and eyes wet) is all her. Definitely no teacher can produce that.
@jerrie2u6 жыл бұрын
I don't think I've ever heard another artist with the ability to tap in to the emotional side of every cover she sings, she's exceptionally gifted in that area. She's a gem!
@jhunbuatis6 жыл бұрын
realy?? maybe the person who you talking about is our asias song bird?? thats a open secret, can you see the competion morrisets copmpete?? if you had a singing voice even a good coach cannot make you sing especialy that higherpitch.. the mentor you said is they coorrecy only the grammar of this singer..

Yup, and btw you may want to look for marcelito pomoy who sang the prayer. He's done no vocal training his voice is god gifted as he said and watching his videos will prove it. 😉

Hi Carl, I liked that "Priceless Smile" comment of yours, 'coz Mori, aside from her natural "smiling face", she has the habit of smiling while singing as if saying to her fans "Thank you", and that is the Aura she surrounds. I guess I never saw her "frown", it's her very nature to be a very simple, down-to-earth, nice, warm, and good hearted person, that's why she was dearly loved by her fans and even foreign reactors who went to the Philippines to meet her, she's very accommodating. Hoping someday you'll meet her and other Pinoy Artists as well. Tnx Bro.

She's absolutely incredible, and it is unbelievable how her first language isn't English (Tagalog dialect ) and as much as you may try to pick her accent is on point. And by the way this is true one take singing..... SHE SLAYED , PUT IT IN A COFFIN, BARRIED IT AND THIS IS NOW SORRY (MY OPINION) HER SONG.

I really love your honesty when it comes to giving your reviews. I also agree with what you said when it comes to great singers who often touch the boundaries of voice power and the possibility of it causing serious issues in the long run if they are not careful. *I love Morissette more than any singers in the world* but sometimes I got scared too when I hear the littlest cracks in her voice when she sings live. Which rarely happens, but I'm still wishing for her to have the best health always and to take some rest when she feels stressed out. 💜💯

@ding17446 жыл бұрын
you are absolutely correct coach. push the limits and you lose the gift. the truly great singers who have gone the distance knew intuitively and with the help of good coaches, managers, caring friends know when to rest. best example of a filipino talent that is still going strong to this day is Lea Salonga who won the lead at sixteen for miss saigon, sang the top disney animated vocals, and is still gifting the world today with her remarkable voice. she was formally coached from a young age and nailed her audition the first try. she knows her limits and when to back off and rest especially when having to perform nightly, on stage, on Broadway. she is worth a listen from her original audition video to her singing today..

Smitten. 😋 Here in the Philippines, everyone has a Karaoke. A party won’t be complete without it. Seriously, the government had to give laws on time to use the Karaoke. While toddlers in other countries are learning raps and pop songs, kids here are learning Whitney Houston. Morisette and Marcelito are a few examples. 😊

Her technic is flawless! I have to open my A's and O's whide like that. The shape of the vowels we make with our mouth is not the same for everyone tho. Im classically trained and at the biggingin wheb I was 17 and starting my classical training I didn't had ti open my mouth that much e en after my passagio, but when I turned 25 my voice got a little darker and way bigger and I had to give my voice space for it to finish spinning. Sorry my English is not my best jajaja. I love your videos!!! And what you say is true! It is dangerous but all faces and voices are different. Atlest it doesn't hurt my voice, I sing without even felling likr Im singing.

I hope Morissette and her management group watched this reaction video and of more importance would heed your fair warning. She has been overworking her voice in the last few months, with concert after concert in different time zones, going all out vocally. In Morisette’s latest performance in an Asian song festival, her voice has lost some clarity and crispness, and doesn’t seem as malleable as it used to. She’s gotta trim her schedule if she wants her glorious instrument to last.
@katniss44506 жыл бұрын
Are you nuts? She sounded INCREDIBLE singing "Resignation". Her tone was unbelievable, BETTER than her Wish Bus performances. Richer, deeper, just sounded phenomenal. She did sound a little flat singing Throwback, but that had nothing to do with losing her voice maybe she was just a litte nervous. In 2017 Asia Song Festival, she was off pitch singing the beginning of Secret Love Song but eventually she calmed down.
