Hopefully you will dive deeper into Morissette's work because what you fill find is a wonderful actress who can sing like few others. Morissette understands the 'event' of a song. She understands dynamics. She understands performance. When Morissette sings, we get a masterclass from a world class artist. The most important thing we get from Morissette is.....JOY!

Morissette is over here in the states doing a tour. You can find all kinds of phone shot performances of Mori singing with her tour mates. While the venues might be MSG, or The Omni or some other large venue, the people that are there love her so much. She also drives security crazy when she just decides to have a trip through the crowd. If there is a star that deserves to be in front of her. There is nothing that I've heard from her that is less than stellar. I'm going to give you a link to the song you mentioned, 'Could You Be Messiah' but this is the one where it is one take. In that one at the beginning you will here the directors voice cue it in and then at the end you will hear him speak again. That voice is Dave Lamar, Morissette's husband, who is a talent in his own right. They have a video together that let's you see what they are about. It is Ed Sheeran's 'I Don't Care' and it says a lot about their relationship. Things haven't always been smooth sailing for these two and not between them but from the outside some did not approve, and still don't. So two links for you just to listen to and enjoy yourself. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWjJkmqvf5mWoa8 'Could You Be Messiah' One Take Brilliant!!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnTMqXiwmtqfn9U ' I Don't Care' a duet with Dave and Morissette Lamar cover of the Ed Sheeran song.
