The lyrics of this song is about a couple who's in the middle of an argument and on the verge of breaking up, thus why the delivery sounded angry. It may sound forced at some part but it really hit different when you understand what they're saying. They're basically saying variety of "please go to hell"s to each other. Siti Nurhaliza sings more love songs so that's why this performance sounds different than her usual stuff. Not sure if you'd be interested but check out another version of this song but instead of Siti Nurhaliza, Azlan performed with another Malaysian singer Ziana Zain. She's more expressive in terms of lyrics delivery.

Giv her watever genre n she will deliver it very well n into d character. She had noms.of fast songs which are so pupular. She sings latin etc beautifully. Missed the video but ultimately it’s about the voice. I love Siti. The other singer has a quality to his voice that makes me a bit uncomfortable. A “suffocated” sound? You guys pointed out he’s not fully using his breath, I guess that’s it. And since there’s no visual when he started singing I thought it was Siti, and I thought “Huh”? 😆 for keeping the breath going I’ve been using the toy that you breathe into and keep a little ball floating in the air. 😊 always appreciate your advice about good singing technique. Hi Chase and Melia. I really love your reaction for this particular performance. For the fact that you commented on Azlan's voice shows that you really know what you're talking about, voice/performance wise. Yes he sounded kinda off on this particular performance. We gotta give the man some credit tho on how he tried his best to sing thru this particular arrangements as it is a lot slower and personally for me not as high as the actual arrangements are, which also actually was his original song. The arrangements must've been thoroughly written so that it will actually suit for both singer singing style. However for the fact that both are amazing in two very different singing style, I guess that perfect range to blend them together might be a lil challenging. Hence the reason why one if not both do face issues to fully throw them voice out which results shows as them not being so efficient on this particular performance. Especially Azlan. He does sounds a lil bit inefficient in this particular performance, or for people who are familiar with his voice might say, he sounded like he's really trying not to go as high as usual of course being amazing in trying to blend with the mentioned arrangement. I think you guys would really enjoy the channel The First Take. They are a Japanese channel where artists come to record live vocals, the whole group together in one take, in one room. Currently two kpop artists have been on the series: StrayKids and TXT. StrayKids are extremely popular internationally, they are also self-written, self-produced, and self-arranged. The leader, Chan, began training at 12, leaving his home in Australia to train at JYPE. He had 8 debut showcases (one each year) and never debuted. He met two fellow artists and assembled a rap/production team called 3RACHA. These 3 became the beginning triad of StrayKids, who they fleshed out with more vocalists and dancers. The group is one of the very few in kpop that assembled themselves and chose their own members. And they did extremely well. All 9 members can sing, rap and dance well. They gave been on The First Take three times as of yesterday with their songs Slump, 애, and Scars. The second group, TXT is BTS’ dongsaeng (little brother) group. BTS was the solo talent on their label for 6 years, then TXT debuted. At this time, BTS was already becoming huge internationally. When TXT were training and then when they debuted, they essentially had the eyes of millions on them. As BTS’ successors-for lack of a better word-everyone was watch to see if they could fill the big rookie shoes BTS were leaving behind as a seasoned group. They’ve done remarkably well. They are in their second full year and are already internationally popular, plus their group and solo efforts are all noticed by their peers. They have performed two songs on The First Take: Crown (their debut song) and Force (a song written for an online anime/game(?).
