I stayed up until long after midnight watching this, completely enthralled. This conversation is at the absolute heart of what he needs to be taken on most deeply now, and I appreciate the references to the work on Beauty, which Thomas Jockin is excellent on. “What is the difference that makes a difference?”-I love that phrase from Guy, as well as the reflections on working to stop seeing ourselves in the mind of the other so that we can actually be “there” for the other. There is absolutely a certain coordination of value which must come first before any other coordination is possible, and this has a lot to do with the capacity to attune ourselves to Beauty. I believe this is being modeled in spaces like this and the Liminal Web, this “Network Philosophy” (a beautiful description), this advent of a Social Coordination Mechanism by which Value might better and fully shine.
