Jon is the man who brought arm wrestling to the world. I mean Jon had one of the biggest Oscar winning action stars of the world make a movie about him. He is the greatest of all time.

It is sad we have so little footage from John's golden years when he was #1 in the world as a 95kg puller. There is of course the Pulling John documentary, and a few matches on youtube, but no coverage like we have today around guys like Devon and Levan, where almost every practice pull ends up on youtube. I really wish John had documented his matches and even practices more thoroughly around his golden years +-2005, because it is hard to actually believe people that John is the true goat when the actual footage of John beating 300+lbs monsters is not available any more. You can find his losses more easily than his wins (like the 2008 loss vs Devon or the famous losses vs Voevoda or Denis).

He's obviously changed his mind about that right after He confirmed what i was saying about the tall long lever and large handed opponents that make him feel uncomfortable at the grip in the setup, he said that here for Matt Mask the large size of his hands and length of lever, he said this about Matt Mask in another interview a while ago too.

I disagree, i would say it better to work on the areas where you are weak than where you are strong. For example, if you have good side pressure but bad top roll, you will be beat. If your side pressure is almost good, and your top roll is almost good, then it is less likely to be beat, no?
