Yoshinobu Kanai is just impressive for even being able to stop Todd Hutchings, especially after not participating in the sport for quite a while and the fact that Todd is one if not the most dominant puller in 105 kg category. Almost nobody else has held on like Yoshinobu Kanai did.

Definitely the best match of the event. Pure old-school arm wrestling no complaining or whining about setups, no yelling, and so on. Just two world class athletes going at it and respecting each other, as it should be. Yoshi proved that he still has it after all these years.

Now don't get me wrong and think i'm against it, just be honest about it at the least. Arm wrestling isn't so big in East Asia. And Yoshi is like a pearl in a mud . Although Yoshi lost here, he put up a damn good fight against Todd. And Todd is a guy who nearly pinned Devon Larratt in his prime. This really is somthing to see. Big respect to Yoshi.

What an outstanding match! Two world-class, similarly gifted athletes giving it all on the table, I like all types of matches but I must admit this was one the most amazing ones I've seen, I really liked the flow of it, how it was posible to just go from foul to setup without even needing to remove the band, I liked how respectful they were to each other and the referees yet how intense they were when pulling. What a match!

I have seen some matches but not the whole card. But man, this is the best so far. By a good margin. No delays in the setup, no commenting about the setup, just a pure battle from start to finish. And jez, is Yoshi impressive! Haven´t seen him at all before but if he continues pulling he could really be a force in the division. Great match! And just love that Yoshi is smiling and shouting throughout!
