I remember when first time saw this video at closer end of 2019 and saw these lifts and thaught hoooly fuk those are impressive lifts and will take some good time to get even close. Forwards bit more then 1 year in future and oh my day, i am getting closer faster then i thought. But what i wanted to ask is for opinion of is'nt it more beneficial and safer to do wrist curls on incline with always fat gripz? For me, i changed quite alot of variations till i found IMO the best and the hardest and safest way to train wrist curls with dumbbells. Basicly you lean alot forwards with you upper body, rest your tricep muscle against inner tigh in 90 degree angle. So arm could be straightened out(but no need to) and fingers should be easly reaching the ground if needed. Then you lean bit sideways to according side of which arm or wrist you gonna train and lean with your shoulder little bit closer to your knee itself. This should give you now an good armwrestling angle with sidepressure involved aswell when you gonna lift the dumbbel up for any of excersices what you can do in that position. And when you do wrist curls with fat gripzz from that position when your wrist is far away from any place where it can rest ,it feels much ,much harder. Firstly it is non stop working on your fingers as your arm is in huge incline and makes it that much harder to lift it up ,the bigger incline you are. And this way feels so much harder. Roughly noticed it while ago with when i reached 50 kg on parallel level wrist curl with no fat gripz and then my forearm started to experince bad kind of pain in just middle of forearm when take some weights, rest em on knee and do wrist curls. So then i started to experiment with all kind of angles and bought fat gripz and realised if you do on incline that pain started to dissapear ,cause it wasn't aplllyng that much pressure in unneccesarry part of the forearm . And the further i extended my arm and more on incline arm was ,so my wrist would be further away from any resting pressure, the better it felt for forearm and that bad pain in given time healed what occured from constant overload. And best part again ,when started doing wrist curls in new way ,i didn't need that big of weights anymore :D :D It was that much harder ,that instead of doing 50 kg wrist curls in normal position, here could do hardly 25 kg wrist curls and it works on everything arm related. Feeling sidepressure, fingers, forearm, wrist and bicep. Cause afterall if wanna lift 50 kg on wrist curl in this way from the ground you need to have power in beeing able to lift in bicep, sidepressure aswell.
