You can watch and listen to Stand By Me, watch each of them and see how much they mean to each other. Check out Geoff solo Carol of the Bells - just EPIC, VoicePlay did Zat U Santa Clause. Louis Armstrong did this in 1953, and the late great Satchmo loaned his voice towards the end of the song to J None just to make sure it was perfect. I know J None is really good, just didn't know he could do Satchmo.

I had been hoping that VoicePlay would cover "Stand By Me" eventually. Mykal was the perfect collaborator for this one. A lovely song with a beautiful message about true friendship. BTW, you cannot have too much VoicePlay (or Geoff's solo releases)! They never, never, never disappoint!

This song is very nostalgic for Geoff, Layne and Mykal. They sang it and many other songs when they formed the group under the name 4thelove in 1997 with Earl Elkins Jr. In 2002 Scott Porter joined as their beatboxer and they changed the name to 4:2:Five. Mykal left in 2002 for a very successful Broadway career. Singing in and writing musicals. He has won several Grammys. Scott left in 2003 for a very successful acting career. They changed the name to Voiceplay in 2012.

This really is a big hug! Mykal used to sing with Geoff and Layne in high school in the acapella group they formed back then. Eli was in a nearby school and knew them from vocal competitions. I can just imagine the school chorale director jumping for joy to have those guys in his group together VoicePlay’s newest is in conjunction with the game developer of Warframe singing as the ‘infected’ Boy Band of the game to highlight the drop for the Warframe 1999 update. And it slaps! “Party of your Lifetime”

Wasn’t Kathy’s dad their music teacher in high school? It’s too bad that they weren’t able to bring him in to watch this performance, or if they did, that they didn’t film his reaction.

Jimmy, I will be sorely disappointed if you miss out on Geoff Castellucci's release of Carol of the Bells this year. It is beyond epic and the longer you hold off watching it, the more you'll regret not having it in your life sooner. It is the Die Hard of Christmas Carols, and you need it even if you don't realize it yet.

If you’d like to see more of Mykal Kilgore I’d highly recommend his performance of “Stars and The Moon” on the mcc miscast KZbin page. He’s vocals perfection and sass for days. Love his voice.
