Linda, as a filmmaker and producer you've got to tell me what the motivation is for you to watch all of these videos? I have people who watch a lot of them but I think you may be on a record pace here. I'd love to shake your hand and thank you in person someday and give you one of my cherished, LEST THEY BE FORGOTTEN hats of shirts. Your dedication towards my work is remarkable and touches my heart.

@@VoicesofHistory I am a lover of history but more than that these veterans stories move me to become a better person. I don’t know if I can adequately explain why I feel so moved to listen to every story. When I was pretty young (around 12) I had the opportunity to visit Arlington National Cemetery and see the Vietnam wall. I just remember , even then, wondering what every individual story was. What happened? Who were these people? When I watch these interviews I see normal people with extraordinary honor and bravery. I know most of them would say, ‘no, I was surviving or doing a job’ and that may be so but they deserve all the honor and recognition for what they have done. For serving this country and the people who enjoy its freedoms. It saddens me greatly the way a lot of Vietnam vets were treated when they came home. Being able to thank them for their service (and hoping some see those comments) and welcome them home is a very small thing I can do as a citizen.

Linda, I will do what I can to share these comments with the Veterans. Sadly, most of them are gone. I think you will enjoy my Iraq series also. It's time to start sharing their stories in contrast to all the older war stories. We probably will never see a conventional warfare again in history. Today's warfare is so different.

Brother John, you are the best! All of my stories are all my favorites. I have so many that I have actually forgotten about some of them. Shame on me. They are coming alive again within me though. I'm so proud of my veterans. Thank you for your support and your caring of our Veterans.
