Voices of SAIS: David Berke

Prior to joining SAIS, David Berke, MIPP ’15 served in the United States Marine Corps, where he commanded the first operational F-35 training squadron, and was one of the first pilots to fly the F-35B Joint Strike Fighter.
David said that his military experience helped him transition to SAIS, where like the Marines, he said he was required to get out of his comfort zone, and learn to formulate decisions based on new information.
Upon graduating from SAIS, David will continue his service in the Marine Corps, working at the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
