My first playthrough, I accidentally got Tommas exiled for insubordination, and I felt really bad about it. But it ended up working out, because when Sophia turned the revolt into a massacre, Tommas was so far away that she never caught him, making him the only major character to survive the revolt aside from Sophia herself in my first playthrough.
