Enjoy this episode of Kraft Suspense Theater, the Award Winning Television Suspense Drama Show that ran from 1940 - 1962. Many stars and writers got their start on this radio thriller show which was well written, directed, and acted. With plenty of intrigue and action, these radio plays are some of the best.
The Kraft Suspense Theatre is an American television suspense drama series that was broadcast from 1963 - 1965 on NBC. Sponsored by Kraft Foods, it was seen three out of every four weeks.
Later syndicated under the title Crisis, it was one of the few suspense series broadcast in color. While most of NBC's shows were in color then, all-color network line-ups did not become the norm until the 1966 - 1967 season.

Thank you for uploading this! The acting is better than in any movie at theaters in the last 20 years and the suspense was killer in every episode! I wish the complete series would be released on DVD. Such high quality writing should not be lost. How could it possibly have such few views?

Thanks for posting these! I love that Johnny Williams score! Jack Lord ("Paul") was 44 here. This was made a year after his "Stoney Burke" role and three years before he became "Steve McGarrett" in "Hawaii Five-O." Ten years after that, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and died in 1998 at 77 years of age. Andrew Prine ("Chris") was 28 here. He was a prolific award-winning actor in hundreds of stage, movie and television productions over his six-decade career including two episodes of "Hawaii Five-O." He played recurring characters in "Weird Science," "Wide Country" and "The Road West." He died in 2022 at 87 years of age. Broderick Crawford ("Pop") was 53 here. This was five years after his role as "Dan Matthews" in the syndicated TV series "Highway Patrol." He won an Oscar for his role as "Willie Stark" in the 1949 movie "All the King's Men." He was working right up to his death in 1986 at the age of 74. Lisabeth Hush ("Dorothy") was 30 here. She appeared in a few dozen productions, mostly in the 60's and 70's. She married actor Sam Gilman, 19 years her senior, the year before this episode was made. She died in 2021 at the age of 86.

Prine skated on a murder charge in a suspicious case of a young woman found dead..they couldn't pin in on him but it killed his career nevertheless.

@mortal clown 3812== read your comment of the PASSING AWAY of ANDREW PRINE and many viewers are NOT AWARE that ANDREW PRINE had HIS OWN TV series called the """FAR COUNTRY""" also featuring EARL HOLLIMAN back in the MID 1960s about RANCH WORKERS!!! Thanks for your comment****

Prine didn't "skate" on a murder rap. He hadn't even seen the girl that day. Read up on it. Two other men were at her apartment until 3am while she was in her usual drugged out haze. She stalked Prine and made up a ton of bullcrap. Her own father said it wasn't Prine it was someone the dad knew. He said that in his memoir. She sounds like a real piece of work.

In order to employ the ad block you literally have to go onto the website not the app you cannot activate ad blocker through the app only through the website KZbin unless and you’ve got to keep on reapplying each time you go to a different channel different thread different video. Very annoying.

True- but the anthology format was dying a slow death. After "SUSPENSE THEATRE" was cancelled in 1965, only one remained on network television- "BOB HOPE PRESENTS THE CHRYSLER THEATRE" {"UNIVERSAL STAR TIME"}.

When writers and actors has talent and ideas. What do they push out today that's just a copy or another version of something that's been created before by someone else.
@VoicesOnCall

You are right. It seems like so much of today's current programming is just duplicating the ideas from past shows and movies. The only difference is that the script and acting today is not nearly as good as some of the classic work done in years past
