in my testing it doesnt seem like status chance actually affects the forced blast procs from the incarnon. likely a bug. multishot DOES affect all procs though at least

Yeah multishot is really valuable on it (and easy to stack thanks to the perks). It looks like status chance procs a lot of ips and the modded element though in combination with the multishot so there is still some value in it

Not to criticize or anything, but why use magnetic damage? I'm genuinely curious because I've never really seen anyone use it, and I'm trying to learn to build for myself.

Since the Jade Shadows update, Magnetic does up to 4.25x damage to overguard and shields, starting from 2x and each stack adding .25x. Thrax and eximus have a lot of overguard, so it's a good choice for tankier targets like them. Breaking the shields or overguard of an enemy affected by magnetic will deal electricity damage to them based on 3% * number of procs, up to 30%. New magnetic changes make it a really strong status now, plus the fact that it can still be used as that extra GCO status for the damage increase. There's also the shield regen debuff but that's not as relevant. Hope this helps.

level cap thrax have insane overguard, and magnetic help with that since you can do more damage to overguard

@@tyson893 yeah it deals with overguard. It’s less important if your gun is a secondary and just deals a lot more raw damage, but primary weapons tend to need a lot more help
