Thanks for covering Voidfall. Interesting to hear your thought process as you dig into it. You've gone for a higher complexity house so you might find some elements harder to do than others, the 4 symmetrical houses are great generalists, the asymmetric houses are far more specialist. On the iconography it's a language to learn, then you put it together, so for example arrow down to the right means 'gain' (or put on the map etc) arrow left and up means 'lose' (or remove) so a trade token icon with a right/down arrow means get a trade token, a corruption with a left/up arrow means remove a corruption. This combining also adds things like sectors, so a corruption with a right/down arrow and a sector means, put a corruption into one of your sectors. So once you know the basic icons you build up the meaning. I think that’s far easier than trying to remember each and every unique combination of icons.

I've been punching, organizing, learning and setting it up for a week now. Granted, some nights I'm just too tired or have other things to do, but it's still a daunting task to get ready to play.

I still have to start playing this masterpiece. I can imagine the first setup will take a few hours... This video might help when I do that setup, but it would be great if you could timestamp it. Timestamps are the best way to filter through a long video such as this, when you are looking for specific info.

You can't choose those 4 fallen houses because you need 1-3 with cracked glass and you have 0.
