Gyrus is really underrated, he's probably my favorite jund commander

Building Gyrus as an ETB Commander is as far as I got with him. Taking advantage of the creature returning instead of the combat. If you don't intend to wait around and build an engine like Meren or Karador he's a great fast aggro value style Commander. I've had my graveyard exiled enough to know even that doesn't last all game.

I absolutely love Gyrus, the fact that it doesn't care about commander tax is so great. The only thing I'd change is that it should reanimate minions with equal power as well, that would make the early game a bit nicer and it certainly wouldn't be too overpowered still.

If ever-watching threshold let you draw a card for every creature attacking you you'd get decked by my tokens.

My Gyrus deck is fun, but it’s a little expensive to build well. Doubling Season, Primal Vigor, and even Parallel lives to take advantage of the token creatures you create digs into your wallet. Have fun building him, but keep an eye on your purse strings.

I an in the process of building Gyrus X tribal. So far it is odd. All the X-pected cards are in and I am using some creature based tricks that I can recur with his second ability.

and this is why c18 was a flop, most of these cards are just bad, not under rated, more like under performing. just my opinion, sgtill love your content, keep it up.

Gyrus with doubling season or the other enchant that doubles tokens. Get to keep some of them that way. May look into this...

For me Enchanters Bane is pretty close to the top, but it can not dethrone Magus of the Balance (I just love the whole thing and its presentation). "Boreas Charger" is neat too (can fetch duals) and personally I love "Coveted Jewel" and all the bargaining it creates xD
