I ran surge and blazing spirit on my voidstrike and boi I love setting heretic on fire. I used True Aim, Wildfire and Combustion as the big soul blazing crit proc so no need for Warp Nexus. As for assail, tho it is brain dead OP with psionic, I much prefer using assail with my revolver loadout than voidstrike. Since your staff destroys everything and you don’t wanna lower your staff uptime for anything other than meleeing. I rather stick with BB or smite blitz to gain access to some talents. And using assail locked you out from CDr from elite kills so L. Still, I used this loadout before and playing it turned you into an absolute destroyer of world. Very nice gamer match.

Interesting you run blazing spirits on void. I run it on trauma due to the massive aoe but on void it's not as effective for me. I run assail with void because void kill time with spread out shooters are a bit too slow.

@@swaggarinoblackarino7347 I say blazing spirit on either staff have been helping me out with destroying horde and setting them on fire. It has been effective for my voidstrike experience since True Aim stacks with penetrating headshots. It helped me spreading fire throughout large horde. As for shooters spreading out, void got ridiculous 50m suppression range so firing into the scattering shooters would scare them from shooting. Then I just rush in and melee them for ez toughness heal since they can’t shoot while you are in their faces. Or pray the team to have someone managing shooters. As for blazing trauma, I have been using it on elite melee and it is funny spreading fire among the big armored bois. But i treat it like a tool for stacking brittleness and blaze stacks while I just meleeing them to death.

Have you tried a Scryers build? It's not melee or ranged weapon dependent (although high ROF is best). Chuck in Brain Burster with both upgrades, and Empowered Psyonics. Pop ability whenever you see a big nasty or melee is getting hectic. Kinetic Resonance coupled with empowered psyonics will have Brain Burster charge almost instantly for 0 peril, and will one shot a crusher on damnation with a crit - which is likely due to upped crit chance through nodes and Scryers. It's a challenging and fun build and plays a bit like a zealot, and super effective if you play it right.

Sounds really fun, but no need to waste a point on the random brain burst once every 15+ seconds. Should never be picked in any build.

@@IroskTheOrc ​I'm on the fence about it because it is so random...but also, free damage 🤷‍♂️... and sometimes you get it go off on the perfect target and save the game. But fair point, if I find something I need more, it would be worth sticking that point somewhere else. Would be nice if it went off on crits, at least then I can increase chances.

​@angrygaming1025 it's free damage but fuck all free damage. Getting a bit more defense (and I only mention defence because there's always extra toughness related talents to pick up) is probably going to save you more often than a random brain rupture that, let's be honest, usually hits irrelevant targets. It fits the Rule of Cool, though, so I don't begrudge anyone taking it because they think it's fun. It really could use a buff. Imo, it only triggering on specials, elites and monstrosities would be a good change.

The kinetic flayer which triggers BB effect randomly every 15 seconds is somewhat useful on melee only mission. Since you would be blasting void balls at crushers and smashing force sword on heads, triggering BB on these lads for a burst of damage that could stagger them and possibly kill them and spread soul blaze stacks. In a normal game or any modified mission, you might as well put the point into something useful for survival instead. It really depending on the game mode. I’m personally a Psyker with uncanny obscurus force sword that melee enemy elite so the random BB suits me, Although I wish it could get a rework to improve its value.

It's not a bad ability but for me venting shriek with creeping flames just do too much. Huge aoe to clear horde also a safety net for when peril is mismanaged.

Does that mask youre wearing make your psyker's voice deeper? The accent sounds like the high pitched one

Yep it's one of the few mask in game to have this effect. There's an identical mask to this one without glowing eyes, which only give the regular filter, rather than this demonic deep voice.

Right click only for sniper far away. Assail is good against spread out shooters and horde clear. You can weave in a few assails while engaging with horde in melee.

you should be running scriers gaze with peril resist. that's the proper voidstrike crit build.

as any voidstrike crit build should be. but it doesn't matter because your double-shotting so much during scriers that everything in front of you just dies. your offense becomes your defense. (he should also have the 5% crit node...his choices are baffling)

That build has no synergy what so ever. Voidstrike crit best dps is smite and venting shriek no contest to another build my friend.

5% RNG? why are you only counting the 5% crit node? (which wasn't even my argument) CDR is stability. voidstrike should be built for clutch. It's more important to be getting the double shots when it matters (with scriers). CDR is a luxury that entices bad players (although there are a few legit cooldown reset builds) @@stradavar3022

No. Fat shark is lenient with mod as long as it doesn’t impact other’s experience. The hp bar is somewhat balanced by it doesn’t show in distance and it won’t move with their head height.

Fat shark encourages ppl to use mods to make the game more fun and convenient for them. Most mods follow fat shark policies and stay within the guidelines. But download at your own discretion.

Because a mod is basically affecting my experience in that situation. Should be used with smite. Instant proc of true aim. Smite-instant crit the whole match. Dont know why they would take assail with true aim voidstrike, kind of gimping your build. But everyone is allowed to use what they like. Some people just like the look of assail more.
