Thank you for doing this in English. You really expanded your reach by doing that. Much appreciated.

1.2 is much better, lighter smaller and almost the same in quality of bokeh etc.

No mention about longitudinal chromatic aberration correction, which might be the most impressive feature of this lens.

Thank you for the video! Very informative. I wish you can show the lens performance on GFX at F1.2 and F1.4.

I am waiting for another X mount. I have the 35mm 1.2 Nokton X mount. and I love it
@joetrent47533 жыл бұрын
28mm would be great but I wouldn't bet against 50mm being the next. Hopefully Voigtlander can make a good number of lenses for X mount and not just three or four like for m43 and Nikon F.

@@joetrent4753 Exaclty they should make a 50mm 1.0 hehe

Will this bokeh effect of changing from round to oval as you come closer to the edge of the frame be visible on crop cameras, like Fuji X? Or is it only on full frame? Thank you.

less on crop, but still there..

I wonder, how close I can get with close focus adapter and 75 1.5.
@Martin_Wagner2 жыл бұрын
Depending on the depth of the Helicoud (differs if it's E, X oder Z-Mount) roughly between 50 and 60cm with the 75mm Lens (the wider the Lens, the larger the difference)

Sharper than the 50 1.2 but at f1? Holy moly 😵😍

Wow..this would turn my Leica M10M into a "see in the dark" monster!! I"d been toying with getting the TTARtisans 50mm f/0.95. But with those, I read you often have to use the screws on back of lens to tune the focus in properly. The Voigtlander f/1 is close enough to me to get a more dependable lens that I can count on focusing properly with my M camera right out of the box. It's something like only 1/10th of a stop difference? I can live with that. Just wonder when it will be released?
@Martin_Wagner3 жыл бұрын
Sales Start will be in January :-)
@andreitelenkov57753 жыл бұрын
Hardly, it is only half stop brighter than f/1.2. The difference is almost negligible... But yes, it will allow me to shoot at 1/250sec instead of 1/100...

The image circle of the Nokton 1 : 1 - 50 mm suits the 24x36 mm full frame camera. No bigger format will do. Mounted on a Fujinon GFX 33x44 sensor, it causes a huge vignetting; which is a disturbing deviation. It is not right to consider it o.k. or an artistic expression. An optic with too much vignetting should be rejected. It is a mistake to accept the dark corners and go for a smaller format. Suppose my Hasselblad Zeiss Distagon 1 : 3,5 - 60 mm makes extreme dark corners of my A12 6x6 negatives. And my photoshop advised me me to salve the problem to buy a Hasselblad A16S cassette with the much smaller 4x4 format. I would never buy a lens with a too small image circle.

Doing just in German would have narrowed considerably the audience of this video. This is global and very glad he did it in English which is more spoken worldwide than German.
