Passion in the day is something I love to see. Every era is different but man I miss the old days. Great to see others enjoying this classic content.

On that same night, in other NBA games, Maurice Lucas and Tom Chambers went at it, and Buck Williams threw hands with Lonnie Shelton. All of this was when the NBA had locked out the referees in a labor dispute.

How about the announcers in the Boston-Philadelphia game reacting to Dawkins and Barnes by saying "Could be a good one.". What a different reaction in those days, no?

Michael Cooper might have been silly in going after Bob Lanier (according to Chick Hearn), but Cooper did not back down from anyone.

Jerry Sichting didn't back down an inch. Sichting: real size 5'11.5", 172 lbs. V Ralph Sampson, real size: 7'2.75", 241., not 7'4"...

Him and Danny kept hitting Ralph with cheap shots over and over trying to get him to hit back. They weren't innocent. The funny part is Hakeem was already missing his starting point guard but the Celtics still felt the need to get Ralph out of the game. Kinda funny considering the Celtics fan claim 1986 is the greatest team. Guess they didn't believe in Bird like they claim. Just admit it. They were scared of losing and chose this dirty tactic.

Still 🧂 SALTY ?? 37 years later ? You’re trying to rewrite history. 86 Rockets were a bunch of Coke heads.

9:58 hitting Bird on the head will not work. It has to be on the hands because TBH his release sucks as he shoots it both handed. His charm is on his hands. 😆💢🔥

Boxing is for boxing, Basket ball was suppose to be a skill game with fitness by running and jumping. It was not to be a tug sport like football which is a collision sport.
