Thank you for another wonderful flip through. Your journey with me videos, especially number 6 got me through the worst morning sickness ever last year. I would watch them over and over, finding your journaling and the music so soothing and inspirational. Thank you!

I just adore you. You make this crusty old woman smile. I have a tip that might help you find those extra moments. When I was working, commuting, raising kids, etc. etc. etc. I was overwhelmed with everything. I started doing time studies of every chore I did from folding clothes to washing dishes to paying bills. I knew if I had 5 minutes I could fold a load of laundry or clean the bathtub. If I had 30 minutes I could pay bills. I broke everything up in chunks of time, and somehow, I usually got a couple of hours sleep lol

Glad you are able to spend time with Dad, now you can consider him Bionic! Laughter will be great in his recovery. Maybe he'll consent to a cameo, and get your sister to say hi, too! More Doug, yea! And more on the journal stash, yea! And sorry about your tooth, losing them is a travesty of getting older (I'm right there with ya, lol.) Love the journal review.

Glad you got your tooth problem fixed Ali, not too keen on dentists myself! Hope you have a lovely visit with your family and get to see your Dad after his recovery. Loved your journal, I really would like to add water colour to my Bible study journal a 5 binder but I know the paper couldn't take it. Just using bendable coloured pencils, washi (sometimes) and stamps. Oh and a big yes to more Doug 😀

MY first TN is finally finished and I hope back and forth between many nowadays. I have different notebooks for different subjects and themes and whatnot and love planners and art journals...I am all over the place and you teach that it's okay that way too and I appreciate it bunches. You and Doug are so funny together - you do seem like brother and sister. Can't wait to see the video of him journaling. He singed his beard with the heat gun?? - that alone is going to make me laugh but I'll probably be laughing through most of the video. Hee hee I'm glad I'm not the only one that doesn't always keep my dates in order in my journal.

@katieburns11196 жыл бұрын
I did kinda the same thing for 2017. I wrote that I wanted to get healthy and lose weight, I wanted me and my husband to strengthen our marriage (2016 was a rough year), and to grow with my relationship with God. I wrote down how to make all of it possible. And at the end of 2017 I was 65 pounds lighter, I got baptised and me and my husband have never been this close or happy. ❤

omgsh yes scary at the dentist. Glad you have a good Dr. Yes Plz More Doug Thoughts- meeting the rats was really funny. I think I would be the same way. wow I really Love the black in both journals you need to frame and hang or collage on canvas and hang seriously works of art to be displayed but that's with a lot of your beautiful pages too!!!! Are the pictures from your phone cause you said you use an app Also the vintage clear paper starting with a G. Is there anything just like it that can found on amazon or Michaels. God is so good to bring your daddy back. Have a blessed trip

Hi there! Thank you for your kind comments! Yes, the pictures are mostly from my phone. The paper is called glassine, and my source sold out so that it why there is no link. I don't know of anything that is like a lovely vintage glassine. Thanks so much for watching! :)

When you sign up to patreon do you get access to previous content? I love your videos and art so was looking at becoming a patron x
@AliBrownie6 жыл бұрын
Yes! It's a risk for me because so much of my work is on there. Some people steal by taking all the content and then deleting their pledge. But I do try to believe the best of people so I offer all the past content. If it gets really out of hand, then I may have to consider pulling some content. But as of now, it's all there. Thank you so much for your consideration! xoxo

Ali Brown people can be so terrible and ruin things for the good ones. I'm definitely going to sign up on my next day off. Kiddies go back to school tomorrow (technically today as it's 1.35am in the UK) and I've found watching your videos and attempting to paint such an awesome way to unwind. You inspired me to buy my first set of water colours and I just love your videos and how you come across. Like we are just hanging out and experimenting together. You're enthusiasm and excitement is contagious xx

Ali, I think you are awesome! I am a Christian and I know you have deep faith. I live right down the street from IHOP in KC, Mo. I am just concerned for you in relation to that organization. I know they are good Christian people for the most part, but I have done a lot of research into their organization. It is a little sketchy. They make you pay varying amounts of money for different levels of information about their philosophy of Christ. I am pretty sure Jesus would not appreciate that. Just a word of caution for you. There's much more to it, but please do your research and be careful. Not everything is as it appears. I know it's not my business, but I love you and don't want you to be deceived. Keep being you and inspiring others. Thanks for all you do.

Hey Friend! Thank you so much! How wonderful that you live so close! What an opportunity you have to visit the house of prayer whenever you want!!! Have you ever gone to the house of prayer? The staff LOVE to answer questions...for free! :) I have been several times and have never seen anyone asking for money in return for sharing the love of Jesus. I actually have witnessed a group of students who shared Christ with a broken man into the wee hours of the night. Never once did anyone ask for money. I have worked closely with one of the staff that oversees the Immerse program. That is a week long intensive training and equipping to help people launch their own houses of prayer in their states/countries. It is full of rich teaching, ministry time and practical tools from their years of fruitful experience and wisdom. It's teaching and training. I don't expect a teacher to teach me for free. Their time has value. Please be careful not to confuse paying for training with paying to be evangelized to. I do hope that you find the time to go visit for yourself so you can ask your questions directly to them. I love that you are passionate for truth and want to honor that in you. I am a truth seeker also and want to encourage you to go straight to the source...especially since you're so close. I am sure they would love to clear up any false accusations you may have read online. I believe their ministry would bless you.
