This track has now become my favourite Vola track, overtaking starburn. If people watched the video that was created as part of the album process they’ll realise they recorded the album with a live sounding approach in mind and instruments were created more loosely. I love this approach and the fact it’s not completely perfect and tight, it gives it atmosphere. Don’t at all get the flat comments either. The songs completely in key. 💥 Looking forward to the album guys.

I've recently found out about Vola and I have been thoroughly been listening to Witness (very good album btw) and I am trying out the rest of their music. Get to this track and I can't stop watching and listening to this. There is just so much here. The video itself is so charming to me. The art style of the animation is filled with personality and thought. I can really see the love and care put into it. It is such a stunning art piece on it's own merit. The first minute alone sucks you in with curiosity. Why are they there and what are they looking for? How I interpret it is a search for meaning. Looking for an out of body experience for knowledge or a rebirth of sorts. Then the details throughout the video. Almost every frame cut is in time with the song. The few frames of screen burn of sorts during the rebirth section is just such a nice touch although I don't know if it's intentional but I hope it is, then during the line "claim to see" the hands pull out eyes. (I know kind of on the nose but they didn't have to put it there at that time but they did anyway) and then the heartbeat drums during the new heart scene. I can not get enough of this. Then the song itself is so damn good. To repeat what others are saying the riffs, the synths, the piano, the bass, and the drums are just stellar. What really shines for me is the mix. The engineering and composition is fantastic. Where the instruments and vocals are placed throughout the mix is an overlooked art too so I applaud that. Then there's how the song is made to get stuck in your head in a good way. I can't get the chorus out of my head, but to give credit where it's due so far from what I've heard Vola always has catchy choruses. I'd have to listen the this an impossible amount of times to get tired of it so not anytime soon. I wasn't intending on writing paragraphs but this song and music video is something very special and I hope they see and read this and know that their effort and talent wasn't unnoticed. Truly talented and passionate group of people and I am eagerly looking forward to new stuff from Vola. TLDR; This song and video are REALLY good :]
