Actually in early Meshuggah Jens used to sing and play the guitar and they had really insane complicated patterns and riffs

This is the absolute legendary mix between Pink Floyd, Meshuggah, Porcupine tree and Devin Townsend. 4 of my all time favourite bands. VOLA is fantastic in every possible way!

I think my favorite thing about this album is the recording. The mix is both powerful and shimmering in beauty, and the fidelity is off the charts. Me and my best friend do "Audi Concert", where we take Spotify premium in to his Audi car in the garage, along with 3 bottles of wine, turn it way up on his killer custom stereo, and try to out-do each other in killer mind-bending songs with that crystal clear power. I dropped this song on him and we both went completely mental. Sometimes I think us music lovers consume so much music, at normal audio volumes, we may have forgotten how special high volume high fidelity music can be. Of course, being drunk contributes to the amazingness :) But these guys, Vola...wow. The creativity in their polyrhythmic ascent to the heights of Djent, their beauty in the tempo of their songs, the dissonant chunk of their heavy guitars giving way to soaring melody..it's beautiful. And at high volumes, it's fucking crazy. :)

Hell, Inmazes as a whole is such an incredible album, and the live version of "The Same War" sounding this good is a real testament to how excellent the music really is.
