Hey, congrats on 1k! When I heard you say it wouldn't work with xt30, I was like whaaaat?! Must've been some faulty xt30. You can even put an xt90 on it, it wouldn't matter. Connectors don't matter, they just... Connect! Your battery with your quad essentially. Same way you could put an xt60 on a tiny whoop, but that would just be a very dumb idea, working nonetheless. Just try another connector bro. Edit: In other words, it is not the stack's/AIO's problem. It cannot NOT work with certain connector. As long as there is positive and negative cables, you are not limited in any way in your choice of the connector. Cheers!

What you’re saying makes a ton of sense I’m glad I wasn’t losing my mind 😂 do you think it could be that the xt-30 batteries had a lower voltage themselves? Idk that seems weird too because all 4s should basically be the same. Hm

@@wyatthumphreys that's bizarre man. One thing for sure, choice of connector matters not. Certainly not the voltage theory you have xD All I can recommend is to use another power lead and another xt30. See if that works.

It has a panel mount for an xt60 I imagine. You could still use a 30 if you wanted a floppy power cable.

Hello love your video! could you tell me all the specific parts that you used for the 3.5 inch drone. im thinking of using hdzero with it would it work? what are the best motors that work with the frame and that are good for freestyle?

Yea the 3.5 inch was 1804 3500KV motors for 4s and they were great for freestyle! Then it was just the hakrc f722 AIO and a crossfire receiver. I would double check with flyfishrc if hdzero could fit because it’s a pretty tight build!

I just built the 3 inch. Tolerance was almost to tight. Probably the most solid 3 inch I've flown. Kinda curious about the xt30 xt60 dilemma. I've always soldered on whatever I want. Current wise, I wouldn't think it would make a difference

What do you mean, the AiO that they sent with it "wasn't compatible with XT-30"? How is that possible? Why didn't you use 3.5" blades, you used a larger motor already... they produce significantly more thrust at that weight. If you're not gonna use the larger prop, you could ditch the extra weight on those 1804's, and just get another set of 1404's
