Could you please explain why the decline in SLV from the May high is an impulsive 1-2-3 wave rather than a corrective A-B-C wave? Thank you.

Good Question. The algorithm labeled it as an Impulsive 1-2-3. If I go to draw a manual Zig Zag from the May high and using the Jul high as a potential B Wave, the retracement is too far, therefore disqualifying the Zig Zag. Thanks for the post!

Thanks for the comment and I'm with you based on the strength on the bounce. The Fed didn't cut rates on the unwinding of the Yen carry trade, but as you likely know, they have different methods of injecting liquidity, even outright buying the S&P. I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised!

(on BTC), you don't know which direction it will rbeakout because it's not a traingle. triangles can only be wave 4s and wave Bs and requires certain sequence within. everyone calls contracting channels triangles but they're not and your'e an EWT guy, you should call it something els.e

You are correct on Elliott Wave Triangles (along with some other rules). I don't have the corrective pattern auto button turned on the software. Also, it's simply been my experience that consolidating patterns that form triangles are still likely to break out even if they don't conform the EW Triangle rules. The BTC cart is the ugliest chart I have ever seen 8 failed new highs. Lower highs. Lower lows. It would be a miracle if it turts bullish. BTC will lead the market down as a recession becomes more and more clear, at that time PLTR and the rest will retest the single digit lows in a few months.
