Thank you for pointing out that there is a difference in stage v social dancing steps. I didn’t realize this. I watch a lot of performances and I thought the bigger moves were the standard. 🙂🙏

Very nice! Both of you have such nice long, straight lines when you dance, such an inspiration to watch! One instructor at a course I attended put it this way: In tango the leader invites, it is up to the follower if she wants to accept the invitation. That applies to most things in tango: I can invite the follower into close embrace, but it is up to her if she wants to accept. I can invite her to a large or a certain movement, but it is her decision if that is what she wants to do. I feel this is a nice principle, not only when dancing, but also in life in general.
