I visited Lassen two years ago in late August and was blown away by how great the park is. I spent two days there. Great video, thanks.

This was a great overview of the area and gave a lot of good information. It's an area we didn't know anything about but it has now been added to our future travel list. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us!

great info! I'm nor-cal born and raised and have camped that stretch many times, but it's been years. you've inspired me to plan a local trip! if you've never climbed lassen, add it to your bucket list. shasta is an overnighter, but lassen is a day hike.

Thats what we heard, Lots of skiers were hiking up for the day. Will have to do that next time around!

May I suggest you stop at Silver Falls State Park. Check it out online. It is the largest park in Oregon AND it has TEN waterfalls. If they are full (for RVs) you can stay at Silver Spur RV Park in Silverton, Or. AND if you like Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, there is a Frank Lloyd Wright house there inside a park.

Thanks for the recommendation that sounds amazing. I am not sure we will have time this trip but we have fallen love with this state and will be back! There is soooo much to do and see here!

What map is shown in this video? It is so much better than the one I am using. (Planning a NW trip for this coming summer). Your videos are so informative!
