FWIW, critical hits are those special attacks that can happen after breaking an enemy's stance. Ripostes are a kind of critical hit that follows a parry. Every riposte is a crit, but not every crit is a riposte. The more you know! 🤯

ER fixed dev glitches ..... included a fixed Sus wall in Vocano Manor that after 99 hits would open, but wasn't intended to go anywhere

Possible lore spoiler..? . . . . . So we discover from Ghiza's Wheel that the mechanical thingies on a rolling base are called Iron Virgins. Another word for virgin is maiden ... which makes them Iron Maidens (supposed real world torture devices in which victims would be restrained and slowly pierced by spikes rather than snakes - but it's now largely believed that "real" medieval iron maidens were actually fake Victorian inventions). However, the word "maiden" has another meaning in this game, so they couldn't call the mechanical maniacs "iron maidens", hence iron virgins. Although, they also have a more sinister name in game...
