POTENTIAL SPOILER WARNING About the whole curse theme between Marika and Fire Giants, it appears there are some mistranslations from the original Japanese. The English description mentions Fire Giants in plural, while the original means the single Fire Giant we fought. This way, the incantation is more in line about the Fire Giant being cursed by Marika to watch over the flame. And the whip implies that Radagon (also Marika) was cursed with the red hair by the Giant in return.

i had the same problem as you with trying to suss out what they meant by the curses on the fire giant stuff. i think there are two different curses. one of them is the one mentioned before their loss and the other is the one marika placed on them after they were released from the initial curse. kind of an insult to injury to insult moment because uh... marika is a spiteful asshole lol

Hmm, I'm not sure if you should watch a video of what happens at the Forge when you're not on the Chaos road. I want you to see it, but I think it is very special and you might enjoy experiencing it yourself on another playthrough.

He relies way to much on the ash of war with certain weapons, just hit them with the dang sword 🤦‍♂️

Spirit ashes are just a tool, but if you feel the game isn't difficult enough, you can summon a weak spirit ash to raise bosses hp up, the wandering sorcerer is good choice as it's hp is almost nonexistent 😊

The Fire Giant fight is so incredible, it's nearly perfect. From just the music, you can hear the SIZE of the looming giant. Then the horns start blaring, and you can HEAR the terror of facing a Fire Giant. His roars are the cherry on top.

I would like for you to try the dlc too

I've watched a lot of Elden Ring blind playthroughs, but this one has to be the best I've seen. You take your time to explore everything and read all the lore, which means you've been able to figure out questlines and see parts of the game that most players would never find on their own, and you manage to do it without going too slow and making it boring. Back when you were in Deeproot Depths I binged all the episodes up to that point, and I've been keeping up with the series ever since. Good luck with the rest of the game (and the DLC)!
