Brian you are so fun! So alive! I am older now too, and so wise and so fun, but the world looks at me now as though I’m invisible, have no worth because my youth is gone. Once they all chased after, but I don’t mind losing that. Such a sick world, we old ladies are one of the best resources the world has. And we get lonely.❤Bless you Brian you are a REAL man who has an open mind and open heart! I have a son, he is about your age, I raised him to be like you! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I'm older now but I don't mind at all. I still have fun and can finally take a break from running since no one is chasing now.😅

@@kmarch6630deliberately avoided places where I might get unwanted attention once I was widowed. I was widowed fairly young. We have zucchinis in Australia. So sorry for the lonely and anxious people I don’t suffer from either. I am old and have had a wonderful life. I have a wonderful grandson and his Mother and the loveliest brother Sister in Law and their family. My children can’t be bothered with me, their loss. Also fabulous friends.

I hear ya. I am old too and sometimes I really resent being invisible but other times it is a blessing. Still trying to get used to it though. I live in the US and am sad that our society treats old people that way.

FYI - Extinct is the last stage of a volcano
@mlaiuppa2 ай бұрын
I’ve heard that there is no such thing as an extinct volcano, just various stages of dormant.
@jimthain87772 ай бұрын
@@mlaiuppa Nope, some of them really ARE extinct. There's sometimes a problem discerning whether a particular volcano is just very dormant or extinct. However, there are some very definitely extinct volcanoes. They are usually tremendously old. Think from the time of the Dinosaurs and before. So the one he was talking about as "dormant" means it has probably erupted at least once in the last 15,000 years. It could possibly erupt again, unless it really is at the end of it's life. They really are fascinating things our world gives us, these makers of new land.

We call them courgettes in NZ, but only zucchini in Canada. I don’t like zucchini except in a sweet bread. But when I moved here I was shocked to discover that courgettes, which I liked, were just baby zucchini and I’d spent years being forced to eat zucchini when I could have been enjoying courgettes. Who would have thought NZ would be a cultural food mecca 😁 I live in Auckland which is built across a volcanic field with the ever present possibility of a new one popping up randomly somewhere so I’d agree that an extinct volcano is better than an active one (if less exciting)

Sounds like if they were bigger than courgette/zucchini, they were possibly marrows. Cos in NZ, courgette & zucchini are used interchangeably but if we forget to pick them they become marrows...and pretty tasteless unless they're cut in half, stuffed & baked. ❤

I don’t leave a comment after every one of your vlogs because how many ways can I say that I love your trips exploring the French countryside? They are such fun because you’re having fun and sharing it with us. I have ridden an e-bike, but never down a mountain side. I’ve never been camping or wanted to camp, but you make it look like fun. American here. I had a vague idea what a courgette was. When you said you and the neighbors trade them back and forth in hopes of getting rid of them, I knew for sure they were zucchinis. (Wishing you and Monique much happiness! Don't let anyone give you grief about the age difference)
