The typical MMA fan has no real idea just how difficult the task was that Jones just conquered. Not only is he the GOAT (Not even debatable) but he is far and away the P4P leader by a large margin. 3 yrs out, 36 yrs old and moving from light heavy to heavy isn’t a weight change like light weight to welterweight or welterweight to middle weight. Where talking a jump of 30+ lbs. try that on your best day.

IMO it's stupid that Jones became P4P number one. Volk and Islam proved why they belong number 1 and number 2. Jones returned after 3 years away, submitted one of the worst wrestlers at heavyweight and didn't even show any striking. Volk worked for number one, fought a lot in the past 3 years, beating the best in his weight class and almost beat the best at LW.
