動画内の「KAMEI」についての説明が間違っていました。申し訳ありません。正しくは、自動車部品を製造するドイツのメーカーでございます。 The explanation about "KAMEI" in my video is incorrect. I'm sorry. The correct explanation is that it was a German manufacturer that manufactured car parts.
Wonderfull build as always. This was a very pleasant surprize on this sunday where i got a huge surprize from my wife and stephchildren. The bought me the Meng McLaren and the Ford GT in 1-12 scale last week. i could ring the bell for the fact i am on this moment cancer free. Now it is up to my show them i have learned from your video,s and adapted the high level of building you got. I will be taking a lot of time to complete those 2 kits. I was overwhelmed when i opened the boxes this morning at coffee-time.

The 1/12 scale models of the Meng McLaren and Ford GT are great choices. I hope you enjoy the build! I hope both kits turn out to be great finished products. Good luck! I also want to try the 1/12 scale one day. To do that, I need to quit my boring job and be in a stable mental situation😂✨ I will continue to try my best to start my weekends with morning coffee just like Jan. Thank you as always!
@janvanrenselaar59986 ай бұрын
@@scalemodelbuildchannel I think that you are in a more mental state than i am. But my hands are shaking more and more and my eyesidecis gooing back. Then 1-12 or bigger is the only option. From what i have seen are the engines very good to detail with wires and tubes. And they got some guide lines on the body for masking on the McLaren. These 2 and the Fujimi Nissan Skyline are winter projects. Here it is now 40 degrees hot,no building untill half september. And the Sunday coffee taste the best with a new video from you. No need a cake,just the video is giving me the sweet vibes.
A very impressive build my friend. ❤ I love this little Golf. A clean masking job aswell...and your paint and polishing jobs always look so easy!. A stunning model as ever. Congratz🎉

Hello Maurits. Thank you for watching. I felt happy to be able to build this wonderful kit that has a sense of history. I wonder what Tamiya was thinking when they released a kit of this difficulty at that time. But this little Golf Racing. I also really like it. Please look forward to the next one🤗✨

Excellent job Tama !. Very tedious paint process. The painting required is far beyond what children of the 1970’s could have done. No wonder it wasn’t a big seller 😂. The heavy sprue between the top and bottom of the windshield @ 4:50 can sometimes damage the kit when cutting off with pliers. In this case an old knife blade can be heated up under a flame to cut through one end, then using pliers. I would have done the black moulding @18:12 with strips cut from black decal paper. I look forward to your next video 👍.

Good morning Trappen. Thank you as always. I thought I'd try to finish an easy kit for once, but I never imagined it would be so difficult. I'd like to express my respect to the talented modeler who beautifully finished this kit in the 70s. I admire the idea of using a heated knife. I think it's an effective technique for clear parts as well. Great! Have a nice weekend☕✨
@trappenweisseguy276 ай бұрын
Yes, the clear plastic is very brittle and sometimes could use the hot knife technique.

Excellent as usual. This brought back memories. My first car was a Golf like this one and I so wanted you to stop painting at the Yellow stage, just like my first car "Sunshine Yellow". I really enjoyed this build. Thank you for sharing.

Good morning i Digit. Thank you for watching. I see, the shine yellow finish makes it the perfect nostalgic car. The Golf is not seen much these days, but it is still a car with a great design. Now that I'm an adult, I can really appreciate its cool appeal. Have a nice weekend👍✨
A beautiful model, my friend. Such a simple kit, I could sense your relaxation during this build. It was also reminiscent for me, I used to own a VW Golf of this era. It was a dangerous car but it was fast and light! I have a lot of good memories in it, so thank you for reminding me of a fun time in my life! I look forward to your next work!

Good evening Brendan. Thank you for watching. You owned this car! That's amazing. I hope my video will remind you of those days. Now this Golf has become very rare and very expensive. I would have liked to drive one if I had the chance. Thank you as always!🤗✨

Fantastic work once again from you, this Golf looks amazing 👍🏼👍🏼 Well done 😊

Hi Tama, another very nice model from your “witch kitchen”. I'm like you, I despised the model back then. I hated curbside kits back then, but today I would buy this kit straight away if I found one at a reasonable price. By the way, Kamei is a German manufacturer of car accessories. Keep up the great work. 👍

Good evening, Hans. Thank you for watching. When I was a kid, I didn't understand the appeal of this machine, and I was always interested in F1 and kits that looked even faster. And thank you for letting me know about KAMEI. I have written a correction in the description and pinned comment. I would be grateful if you could let me know if you find any mistakes. Thank you🤗✨

Fun to watch, and yes, it did take me back in time this morning. I enjoy you speaking about the sponsorship details as well. I think KAMEI was actually a German company that manufactured spoilers and flairs back then.

Yet another model kit I recall from Tamiya's range when I first discovered it as a child. I think there was also a 12th scale RC version of this car, and now there are newer kits of the Golf around, I wonder if you could fit this body to their chassis and do a custom street version. But gosh, this is one labor intensive paint job, though the results are worth it in the end! Even if the different colors were done as decals it would still be tricky or even more so if the decals refuse to cooperate. Probably a good thing I didn't get hold of this kit when I was 12 years old!
@scalemodelbuildchannel6 ай бұрын
Good morning, David. Thank you as always. Yes. I have very fond memories of this kit. And now that I'm an adult, I've finally come to understand its appeal. The RC version is also very attractive. It would be a lot of fun to finish it on a modern, fast RC chassis. This kit would have been the nemesis of young modelers back then. I was surprised at how difficult the process was. I hope you have a wonderful weekend😊☕✨
