Looking ahead, Volkswagen's ambitious plans for the Chinese market include a broadening ID. family with 16 models by 2030, including offerings from the new ID.UX sub-brand. Why do concept cars always have ridiculously large rims. No production car has these 50inch rims that where on the concept. When you design with the wrong wheel size, it throws the proportions of the production car out and ruins the styling.

Because designers want the concept ro look like the sketches If you see design sketches, you will get mad because of the irrealistic proportions in most of the cases

At this point I‘ve lost all care for concept cars, except maybe some from Porsche (bc. They ACTUALLY build extremely close to their concepts). But anything else is, and has been in the past, mostly „false hope“ oder basically „attention grabbing“
