The VW ID.5 is a battery-powered SUV from Volkswagen based on the ID.4, to which it is almost identical apart from its roof line. It was presented in its production version at the beginning of November 2021 as the fourth member of the ID. family and as the third European ID. [2] The ID.5 has been delivered since May 2022.[3] He led i.a. the new software generation 3.0 and the function of bidirectional charging for the Volkswagen brand.[4][5].
