I am not a VW fan, as I am Mercedes all the way, however I love your video and I learned quite a bit from your tour. I do have some friends with ID4's and will recommend that they watch your channel for information on this model and more. While some might not like your multi-brand coverage, I think that its smart. Not everyone will buy just one brand and this allow us to get so much information about vehicles that we might not considered.

A good multimedia car system needs an effective speaker system. Additionally, controls to improve the in car acoustics are vital.

And thus begins the limitation to the EV -- Charge stations exposed to the weather. @10:45 Not just leg room but notice that his knees are not point toward the roof. That's a dramatic difference between VWs EV and many of the others. The seat don't sit down on the floor despite the battery. A great design over its competitors from Tesla. Anyway, heated rear seats aren't rear, but a sunroof that opens is. So far, I've only noticed Porsche still does that. I appreciate them reminding us that it can still be done even on an EV. @13:00 I'd like to see those bezel get a lot thinner with transparent permanent symbols around the edges like on the Tesla. That probably the one thin I would mind if other car manufacturers borrowed from Tesla.

Great vid! I test drove an ID4 a while back and felt for the price that the cabin felt too cheap - I hated the 2 button setup for the 4 windows, the climate control sliders under the screen were a total faff and are not backlit after dark (are they on this ID7?) I'd choose a Model Y long range any day over anything VW would come up with. The arrogance of our local VW dealer was enough to put me off for life!

Depends on what you’re after, this car on this video is £13k cheaper than the Mercedes equivalent the EQE saloon! Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏🙏

Volkswagen told me that! 😅 But it’ll be more expensive so don’t know on costings compared to this one. But what’s really cool is that the range of this car is so good compared with other brands I’ve tested for the price!

@@npoleary WOW! What a great sales technique. VW must be sillier than what their cars look like. Stick with the Mercedes, they all look nice cars, even the electric one's are fairly nice looking compared to VW, Hyundai, Kia etc.

I don’t think that’s unique to Volkswagen! 😅 All car manufacturers do it, the faster the EV or the further the EV goes the more expensive it is. This is in part due to the larger batteries fitted or extra electric motors etc.

Well you don’t have to at most public charge stations, most have a cable already attached and they definitely will have a cable already there if you’re rapid charging via DC

Good evening Mr aka Mr O now you do no Spec Savers Are doing 2 for 1 and if you are really lucky you might get a free ear test why do they call it ear when wee have 2 of them now you do no its not our usual brand called Mercedes have they locked you out ? and fell into VW. anyway guess what im sitting in costa yesterday you might remember I told you my mate took my advice on the EQC and bought one well he was having a hard time trying to work out how he was able to the screen when the car is put in reverse he sad to me I can't work it out I sad the camera is hidden in behind the Mercedes around desk, where you press to open the boot this keeps the camera clean so that's how that works yes that's how it works anything else you wood like to no ill get back to you on that. guess what I thing everyone else is now coping us on the 4K all the other channels were only HD now there 4K. how about that

Hey konm! Thanks for the feedback! I took the decision to go full time on KZbin last year and at the same time covering more brands than I did before. There are many reasons for doing this, one of the main reasons is that the price of cars has been rising so much so that it almost prices me out of buying a Mercedes myself. Some people assume that I'd get a good rate but no that is far from the truth, I paid the same as everyone else. This is the reason why I can only afford a Mercedes A 180 (entry level model in the Mercedes range). There will be many others that when time comes to change their car, they may find that they might not be able to stretch to a particular model. I love Mercedes-Benz as brand, that's why I bought one! But there are loads of people in comments who have moved from Mercedes and I don't want to lose my audience or my fans. Still will be creating Mercedes videos, they'll be a Mercedes featured in tomorrow's video and potentially next week too which I'm super excited for. Make sure you watch that one it's super interesting showcasing tech that Mercedes has never put in a car before. Hope you understand!

My issue with Volkswagen is cheating with their emissions here in the US. And just when I was getting over the origin story! Anyway, it’s a moot point as now I’m hooked on my MB anyway.🙂
