Volkswagen MK4 - Door lock does not turn / stuck - How to change lock cylinder in minutes

Hello everyone, i worked on this Volkswagen MK4. This guide applies on all MK4 such as Jetta, golf and even the Golf City (Canadian car). The lock cylinder costed me only 15$.

I only have one key fob for my car. Is that the key that opens the door or is there a separate key for the door

How did you order the matching lock cylinder? What eBay site? Or did you swap the internals from old

yeah but my door dont open at all so thanks in advance!

damn if your door doesnt open, your only way is to rip the panel out or try to pry the cable after opening the window. You need to find the 'cable' that when you pull, it opens the door. Good luck

@@MTLJack welp it whent from 3 degree to 20 and now they both opened idkk!!! lol
