@@fernandomontenegroBMW hey thanks for acknowledging my comment - hope you can answer a quick question... on my EGR vacuum pipe, there is a slot near the end where it pushes onto the EGR valve. I thought this was a cut but it actually looks like it should be there - it's like a slot and looks like ithe pipe was designed that way. Maybe you haven't got your car any more - just wondered if you know whether this is normal?

that is not the EGR valve. that is the air shut off valve. This valve stops the air when you want to turn of your diesel engine.

When i took mine out to clean it the valve was staying closed by default , even after properly cleaned it , do you think i should replace it ?

Pedro Costa nunca mudei o filtro do gasóleo do Audi A2 mas pelo que sei o filtro do gasóleo desses carros encontra-se por baixo do carro junto à roda traseira do lado esquerdo.

this is not EGR cleaning it is pedal shift actuator. EGR is la next one which can`t be cleaned only replaced

IGR na de jaarlijkse keuring een dichte pakking tussen plaatsen , motor gaat langer mee .en loopt zuiniger omdat de luchtinlaat koude lucht blijft houden en niet dat smerige warme hergebruik lucht die alles doet dicht slippen in uw motor . vergeet niet voor de keuring de pakking even om te wisselen i m met metingen uitstoot .(;

bon après midi Voulez-vous purger après avoir changé le filtre à gaz? si c'est le cas, vous devez tourner la clé plusieurs fois sans mettre le contact. chaque fois que vous tournez la clé, le carburant circule dans le système d'alimentation. vous devez faire plusieurs fois pour envoyer tout l'air au réservoir. de préférence, retirez le couvercle d’entrée du combi-tableau. J'espère avoir aidé.

This video is a joke, you cleaned the throthle body not the EGR valve, you need some tools and skils to remove the EGR valve, and the cleaning of the EGR in not only of it't body but also of it's actuator
