It's a myth. The quality of parts is unmatched. Just ensure you get serviced at authorised service center...because normal mechanics cannot understand the engineering in car ...for ex: if check engine light is coming, normal mechanics will jsu short the sensor to show owner the light is not coming.....which is dangerous.....if you take care of Volkswagen , it will take double care of you....happy motoring.
